Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA) is a national organization whose mission is to inspire and enable all young people, especially those from disadvantaged circumstances, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens. The first Club was founded in 1860 and the national organization was formed in 1906. BGCA provides key resources to enhance Clubs’ ability to serve youth. Together, BGCA and local Clubs form the Boys & Girls Club Movement.

The Board of Education of the Garden Grove Unified School District is committed to providing an educational program focusing on student achievement, high standards, and opportunities for all students to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to live a productive life.  To meet this commitment, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Garden Grove proudly collaborates with Garden Grove Unified School District at thirty-five additional school sites serving over 1,500 students daily to provide After School Enrichment Programs.  The Garden Grove Unified School District also partners with our REACH For Literacy programs.

The mission of the Garden Grove Police Department, through a Community Partnership, is to improve the quality of life in the city and provide a sense of safety and security to the community members.  Through the partnership, the Family & Youth Outreach Program and the Truancy Reduction Center have become national models of deference programs.

The Children & Families Commission of Orange County provides leadership, funding and support for programs that achieve the vision that all children are healthy and ready to succeed when they enter school.  The Children and Families Commission of Orange County continues to allocate millions of dollars to fund an ever-expanding range of programs including L.E.A.N. Start, Readiness on the Road, REACH For Literacy, and ARCHES Program to ensure every child in Orange County grows up great.

Healthy Smiles For Kids of Orange County is a non-profit organization whose mission is to improve the oral health of children in Orange County through collaborations directed at prevention, education, treatment and advocacy.  Their goal is through collaborations and partnerships, children of our community will enter school ready to learn and pain free. Healthy Smiles For Kids of Orange County seeks to improve the oral health of our children.

Since opening its doors in 1964, CHOC Children's has provided the highest quality medical care to children. Their regional health system includes a state-of-the-art 238 bed main hospital facility in the City of Orange, a hospital-within-a-hospital in Mission Viejo, and five community clinics which includes a facility at the Children’s Health & Dental Center in Garden Grove.  Center is home to many valuable health and family services for children with or without insurance.

The mission of the Southern California College of Optometry is to provide the highest quality optometric education through excellence in teaching, patient care, research, public service and institutional management. Through a unique partnership with Boys & Girls Clubs of a Garden Grove and The Southern California College of Optometry, we have collaborated to provide pediatric vision care services. The comprehensive exams check eye sight, the need for glasses, eye coordination, vision development, and eye health. Children who are prescribed glasses will be outfitted on-site.

AmeriCorps VISTA is the national service program designed specifically to fight poverty. Founded as Volunteers in Service to America in 1965 and incorporated into the AmeriCorps network of programs in 1993, VISTA has been on the front lines in the fight against poverty in America for more than 40 years.  VISTA members commit to serve full-time for a year at a nonprofit organization or local government agency, working to fight illiteracy, improve health services, create businesses, strengthen community groups, and much more. With passion, commitment, and hard work, you’ll create or expand programs designed to bring individuals and communities out of poverty.
