BGCGG and Sprint Host Internet Safety Fair For Kids Boys & Girls Clubs of Garden Grove and Sprint are teaming up to host an Internet and Media safety fair to teach parents and youth simple precautions to help children have a safer online experience. On March 5, from 6:30-8:30 p.m., attendees will hear how to safely and effectively use today’s technological resources at the main branch located at 9860 Larson Street. REACH For Literacy Awarded $5,000 Grant By Pacific Life Foundation Within the Education area, 30 Southern California nonprofit agencies received grants, which included the REACH For Literacy program of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Garden Grove. The grant comes at a crucial time when program cuts by the state resulted in a 50% decrease in funding for the program, and family literacy services continue to experience a high rate of demand and parents without jobs need our services now more than ever. The grant will help provide program and reading materials required to keep our students advancing in their quest for improved literacy...

With the start of the new year and a slow economy, Boys & Girls Clubs of Garden Grove (BGCGG) is urging the community to get involved in supporting our youth now more than ever. Help keep children off the streets and provide them a positive place to enable them to BE GREAT.
Boys & Girls Clubs of Garden Grove (BGCGG) is one of more than 4,300 Clubs across the country joining in a search to identify talented young artists. The competition is part of Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s (BGCA) National Fine Arts Exhibit.
To help families achieve financial fitness, Boys & Girls Clubs of Garden Grove is hosting Money Matters Family Night. This free, interactive event will feature a workshop to teach parents the basics of money management and provide practical information they can use at home. Topics to be discussed include the family budget, savings accounts and helping teens prepare for college. In addition, parents will receive a high-level overview on what their teens are learning at the Club through its Money Matters: Make It Count financial literacy program.  ...
