At Boys & Girls Clubs of Garden Grove, volunteers play a vital role in empowering local youth to reach their full potential. We offer meaningful opportunities for adults, college students, and high school students to support our programs through hands-on involvement with school-aged children, special events, and daily club activities.
After School Program Volunteers
After school program volunteers work directly with school-aged youth, supporting daily activities, mentoring members, and assisting staff with special events and enrichment programs. Volunteers play a key role in creating a safe, engaging, and positive environment where young people can learn, grow, and thrive
Junior Volunteer Program
This program provides teens with structured ways to contribute to the Club’s activities and gain experience while supporting our younger members. This opportunity allows teens to build leadership skills, gain community service hours, and make a positive impact by assisting staff with activities, mentoring younger members, and supporting special events. Junior Volunteers serve as positive role models while developing responsibility, teamwork, and real-world experience in a supportive environment.
Internships
We offer hands-on internship opportunities for students seeking meaningful, real-world experience. Interns gain valuable professional skills while making a direct impact in the lives of local youth. Academic credit may be available depending on your institution’s requirements.
